Way of play
Exploring the connections between presence and playfulness has led to some fruitful experiences in my life.
In 2020 it led to an awakening that has inspired me to explore playfulness and mindfulness in lots of different ways.
I’ve hosted a retreat with Katy Schutte on improvising with the natural world in Suffolk, run sessions on being here & now with improvisers and spiritual groups and also run a session with The Headless Way in a groovy yurt.
I’m keen for more adventures so do drop me a line to chat about a way of play workshop for a festival, retreat or open-minded group.
"A laugh is the shortest distance between two people."
The way of play
Being in spontaneous response to ourselves, each other and this moment is transformative.
Spontaneity is often overlooked in the Western world, but it’s central to the ecological spirituality of Taoism and Zen. So what happens when we bring spontaneity onto the spiritual path?
I find it offers a ‘skillful means’ for gaining more self-awareness, courage and centred calm. As a facilitator, I use activities that I’ve chosen to feel natural, easy and fun for everyone.
Drop me a note if you’d like to talk about a session for a group or at a festival or retreat.
