About me
Hello, I'm Alex
My work is based around a core belief: relationships are the source of results.
I bring this to life in a range of projects across group facilitation, leadership development and team coaching.
Over the years I’ve worked at a grassroots level with communities and activist groups and on high-profile projects for leading organisations.
For ten years I’ve taught and performed improvised theatre and comedy across the UK and Europe – so I’m skilled at reading the room – knowing when to step in, bring humour, or let things unfold.
I started out in education marketing and have worked as a director and strategy consultant in charities, not-for-profits and global corporations.
In all my work I aim to support meaningful change, and to create a renewed sense of purpose and possibility.
You’ll find me:
Facilitating away days, off-sites, retreats and stakeholder workshops on strategy, story, alignment and purpose.
Delivering hands-on learning based on techniques from improvisational theatre applied to leadership and teamwork.
Coaching teams using systemic and relational approaches, and tapping into creativity and hidden resources for change
Speaking at conferences and events with interactive talks that get people connecting, creating and laughing.
I’ve worked with AstraZeneca, Shell, Channel 4, Adnams, Imperial College, EACH, Theatre Royal, the NHS and a wide range of small businesses, charities and public bodies.
I live on the Suffolk coast in the UK with my wife and daughters. When I’m not working you’ll likely find me in the garden, canoeing, walking, meditating, performing with my improv group, or just down the pub.
If you’re interested in working together, I’d love to hear from you.
