What I'm doing now

(Inspired by Derek Sivers)

Learning

I’m working on various leadership programmes and I’ve got some team development sessions coming up.

I just updated my guide to experiential workshops and programmes for building stronger relationships at work. You can download it here.

Also coming up is the third year of supporting a programme between the NHS and University of Suffolk.

Facilitation

Lot’s happening on strategic side at the moment, and not many bigger events in April & May. That’s all good though as I love helping people meet difficult challenges in new and (hopefully) satisfying ways.

I’m working with EACH again on their ongoing strategy review and refinement, building on the work I did with them late last year.

I’m adding facilitation activities and process to the resources page on the website. It’s taking a while but the processes I use for ‘network meetings’ are all up there now.

Improv

Here & Now People is going well -classes and shows have been full and we’ve got a lovely little community. There’s a beginners course in April & May, an advanced course with my friend Chris Read on Montage, and a show on May 15. – see What’s On for details.

If you like, you can sign up for the Here & Now People newsletter – it’s about characters and relationships…and living an improvised life.

Being human

I’m taking part in a four day training in Playback Theatre over the easter weekend. I love improvised theatre but I haven’t done any playback – so I’m keen to learn and see how I might weave it into improv.

Also I’m exploring tapping aka emotional freedom technique and finding it gives me a grounded sense of inner peace. Result!
