Nature's Playbook

Can a business be more like a river? Or soil? Or a dandelion? Can a team be more like a woodland? Or a herd of elephants?

Join me for some creative online experiments this summer to explore these questions and more.

I’m looking for fellow experimentors to explore fresh ways of coming back into harmony with the living world.

Book on here, or read on for more info on what this is all about.

What if we can creatively collaborate with the living world?

Creative collaboration with nature

  • We are born creative.
  • We are born relational.
  • We are born playful.
  • We are born curious.
  • We are born in nature.
  • Our culture trains us out of those things.

Let’s bring them back into our ways of being and working together – with a kind of Creative Naturism (😳 no, not that kind – you can keep your clothes on).

This summer I’m running a few online conversational experiments (60 to 90 mins each) where we strip back to our natural selves, and tap into creative collaboration inspired by nature.

We’ll be fully dressed (of course!) but it will still feel quite bracing to say out loud: “I think we can find an answer from slime mould.” or “Could I offer you the perspective of a fox on that?”

If you’d like to join me you can book on below.

We'll be asking some questions...

About being inspired by living systems

How does nature do that? What living process has a similar pattern?

For small steps in complexity

How does life organise itself? What does regeneration look like in our ways of working?

For thinking with other species

What would a bat, a river, or a herring gull say about that? What mentor species can guide you?

That help us use our imaginations

What does the future smell like? What would Mother Nature say if she came to a board meeting?

Underlying these questions we’ll be asking: how can we come back into harmony with living world?

Not in terms of landscape and place (important as that work is) – but within ourselves, in our teams and organisations.

I want to create some nourishing and creative experiences for small groups that address this question, and these experiments are the start of that.

I’d love to have you on board as a fellow experimentor – see below to book on.

Join an experiment (or two)

Who’s it for?

You might be a project manager, a CEO, a professor, a cleaner, a creative, or none of the above.

What will we do?

Each experiment is different – see below for details.

What are we testing?

Different ways of collaborating with living systems through a range of activities. I’ll adapt based on your feedback, and share a report at the end.

What’s the commitment?

Places are limited to 6 people, so please treat them like a paid workshop, and let me know if you can’t make it.

You can book on to as many as you like.

What are the times and dates?
